Data Center IT infrastructure are based on MPO/MTP connectors and used technology of parallel data transmition. 
Transfer at speeds up to 100 GB/s is carried out in parallel over 20 optical lines, of which 10 are used for transmission, and 10 for reception. Thus, full-duplex transmission of network traffic is carried out. To build a link at 40 GB /s, the transmission is carried out in parallel on 8 (4 for transmission, 4 for reception) optical fibers. Thanks to the use of compact MPO/MTP connectors, it is possible to build high-density communication fields that meet current and future needs. The use of push-pull tails facilitates the switching of transmission channels and eliminates errors and damage to connectors
